So, you desire a CUSTOM pad???  Well, here is where the fun begins!!!

Send me an image of your shirt or vest........

1. I match up the yarns colors that go with your outfit.  Also taking into account what colors you want added in.

2. You approve the color combination you are looking for.

3. You then take care of the “Design Fee” and I start designing your pattern.  The fee can be taken care of in several ways.  We can discuss this when we get to this point. 

4. You will then receive a mock up for your approval.  Once approved we do ask for a 50% deposit in order to get it ordered from our weavers.

5.  Once the pad is made and back your balance will be due before shipping. 

THE DETAILED INFORMATION…..

The variety of yarns available typically will match any of the current and popular style show shirts available.  A good clean image of your outfit taken outside and in good light will allow me to "color test" your shirt or vest with my computer program.  I can then match it to the closes color of yarn available.

I will also ask a bunch of questions about what patterns you like or prefer to stay away from.  WE WILL NOT COPY A PATTERN FROM ANOTHER SELLER though.  Even though there are only 8-9 design elements you can use within a SHOW pad, we NEVER copy another pad sellers pad.  Yes, with only a few design elements available to use in show pad, some pads may closely resemble another pad but it will be by pure coincidence if one of our pads closely mimics another.  Besides, we are way to busy to even notice other designs!  (Can we just say our noses are constantly buried in the computer coming up with new designs on a daily basis!)

I then get to work on matching colors, deciding with your input on which colors should dominate while also taking into consideration of your horses color as well as your chap/chink/hat/show shirt color.

I then work on your design. (All design work is done on the computer with clean lines so my weavers have a good pattern to follow!)  When I feel it's ready for your viewing, I will send you a mock up of the design.  If you would like, I can even overlay your shirt so you may see how it will look with your pad before ordering!!!  

Once the design is approved, I place your order with my weaver.  I will then keep you updated on the progress he or she is making on your pad.  Once it arrives, I will send you an image of your pad and get it ready to ship out.  I typically ship with USPS and will also provide you with a tracking number.  Please keep in mind that a custom pad may take up to 45-50 days to be made.  We then have to factor in shipping to us and then back out to you.  

Some FYI here.... WE DO NOT CUSTOM DYE YARN. There is only 1 US based weaver that dyes their own wool and that is Golden West.  ALL other pad sellers, as well as Picture Perfect, use 100% New Zealand/Vardhman wool in our pads. These wools are also machine dyed, not hand dyed. We believe in honesty here at Picture Perfect and prefer our customers know the facts.

The fine print.....custom pad returns will ONLY be accepted after notifying us and asking us for a return label within 7 days of receiving said pad.  Said pad CAN NOT have been used and must be in the exact same condition as when it had arrived to us from our weaver.   Custom pad returns will result in a new pad credit ONLY and ONLY after we have sold the returned pad.  We will try our best to sell the returned custom pad in any way we can and then use that sale money towards your credit.  IF the pad does not sell within 60 days, we will send it back to you and no credit will be issued towards a new pad.  PLEASE understand that custom pads were designed with you and your desired pattern and color scheme and sales are not always guaranteed.  With that said, if your pad does not sell within the 60 day time period we will offer a $25 off coupon towards the base price of the pad.
